charlie | I work in a very public field with lots of people, music and lots of alcohol involved. It’s good money but hard work. Some people are nice others are very vulgar. Anyway, I’ve been having these “moments” where I literally stop hearing the music (and it’s loud) and literally only hear all the people talking and laughing, separately. After a while I imagine their faces becoming sorta “liquid” and morphed. Like devils. It’s all very strange and I really have to drag myself out of it and think about something else because if I don’t, I’ll be hearing thousands of voices all strewn out.

Randall | That's normal. Your brain has learned to block out the music and to hone in on the voices. |

Randall | The human brain is remarkable. |
Randall | Bump! |
Morrigan | Possibly. Have you been working long hours? Maybe you're exhausted? Could be a stress response too... |

Not really long hours but I think what surrounds my job is exhausting to me and it's even more exhausting that it's my company and I have nowhere to escape. |
